Kidney recipient Kevin continues to maintain his health with diet and medication.  Doctors consider him a 'boring' patient as he takes his required medications, watches his weight and wears sunscreen to prevent skin cancer (common in transplant patients) in between his required six month UCSD and Kaiser check ups. 

Donor David is doing well also.

Kevin and David manage to get a round of golf in every six months...but not as often as they like.  Racing is still important to both, while David continues to field his familiar orange Pick Your Parts No.6 at IrwindaleSpeedway (Irwindale, CA) in the Super Late Model Series and Kevin enjoys calling the shots this year for young ASA Truck driver Taylor Miinch of Alpine, CA.
